Gemologist's Comments on Clarity:
This blue sapphire contains some minute naturally occurring surface features in some of the facets. Such minor surface features are commonly seen in blue sapphires over 5 carats.

When cutting & polishing natural & unheated/untreated blue sapphires, it is a common practice to intentionally keep certain features of the stone in the natural, rough unpolished form. This is done to preserve the carat weight and maintain the stone's overall shape/symmetry.

These surface features, being very minute, are not at all eye-visible. They can only be seen using a jeweler's loupe (10x magnification). Therefore, they do not impact the clarity or appearance of the stone in any way whatsoever.
