Curation
This extraordinary natural & unheated/untreated Burmese ruby combines the most sought-after qualities in the gemstone - particularly a magnificent color and excellent clarity. It's accompanied by a report from the Swiss Gemological Institute, SSEF, confirming the Burmese provenance and that the stone is spared from exposure to heat treatment. Its deeply saturated red color is due to a combination of well-balanced trace elements in the stone, characteristic of the finest rubies from the Mogok stone tract in Burma (Myanmar). In addition, the purity of its crystal is on full display in a beautiful oval shape with attractive proportions. This mix of features makes this 4.12-carat Burma ruby a world-class specimen worthy of its prestigious origin.
