Royal Araina Collection: Gemstones that you "fall in love" with

Named after his daughter, the "Royal Araina Collection" is a hand-picked selection of exceptional, noteworthy gemstones by Harshil Zaveri, the founder of StarRuby.in ®.

Why choose one gemstone rather than another?

That is where Harshil comes into his own, revealing that his sensibility extends far beyond simple expertise.

In addition to applying the gemological selection criteria, he seeks out stones that speak to him: those that evoke an idea, bring out an emotion, recall a memory, or tell a story.

Every gemstone in the "Royal Araina Collection" is a rare, timeless treasure highly sought-after by discerning collectors and gem connoisseurs.

Treasures of the Earth

"Treasures of the Earth" is a collection of noteworthy gemstones hand-picked by our team of gemstone experts. Every gemstone in this collection will captivate you with its intrinsic beauty and spectacular flair.

Curation
We find ourselves captivated by this extraordinary gem that defies imagination. Hailing from Tanzania, it is an exquisite alexandrite, a rare type of chrysoberyl renowned for its chameleon-like properties. True to its nature, it displays an attractive greenish hue under natural and fluorescent light, transforming into a purplish-red shade when illuminated by an incandescent light source such as a lamp or candle flame. Much to our delight, it often reveals its diverse range of colors as it gracefully moves in the light.

Certified by the reputable Gem Research SwissLab (GRS), the colors exhibited by this gem are remarkably authentic, with no gemological evidence of enhancements or treatments. The degree of color change is also very prominent, while its transparency and sparkle are excellent.

Weighing an exceptional 5.55 carats, this gem is a rare find, as most cut alexandrites typically weigh less than one carat. It is truly a treat for gem collectors and connoisseurs, as well as for jewelry designers who can undertake the rewarding challenge of further enhancing its beauty.
