Royal Araina Collection: Gemstones that you "fall in love" with

Named after his daughter, the "Royal Araina Collection" is a hand-picked selection of exceptional, noteworthy gemstones by Harshil Zaveri, the founder of StarRuby.in ®.

Why choose one gemstone rather than another?

That is where Harshil comes into his own, revealing that his sensibility extends far beyond simple expertise.

In addition to applying the gemological selection criteria, he seeks out stones that speak to him: those that evoke an idea, bring out an emotion, recall a memory, or tell a story.

Every gemstone in the "Royal Araina Collection" is a rare, timeless treasure highly sought-after by discerning collectors and gem connoisseurs.

Treasures of the Earth

"Treasures of the Earth" is a collection of noteworthy gemstones hand-picked by our team of gemstone experts. Every gemstone in this collection will captivate you with its intrinsic beauty and spectacular flair.

Curation
Derived from the Sinhalese word for lotus blossom, “padparadscha” is a scarce and unique variety of sapphires that mirrors the aquatic flower’s remarkable combination of pink and orange hues. The color is also likened to that of salmon or a sunset.

This particular stone from Sri Lanka appears more on the orange side, which can be the case since padparadscha sapphires often straddle the pink-orange color range. That’s why, after decades of debate, the gem world has yet to agree on a uniform color standard for the stone.

The color is also unheated, as certified by the Gem Research SwissLab (GRS), and it has a significant 10.24-carat weight, making this padparadscha exceedingly rare.

Whether more pink or more orange, the padparadscha is an incredibly beautiful colored stone, treasured by gem connoisseurs and steadily gaining mainstream popularity as an exquisite choice for an engagement ring due to the connotations of its color and feminine appeal.
