Royal Araina Collection: Gemstones that you "fall in love" with

Named after his daughter, the "Royal Araina Collection" is a hand-picked selection of exceptional, noteworthy gemstones by Harshil Zaveri, the founder of StarRuby.in ®.

Why choose one gemstone rather than another?

That is where Harshil comes into his own, revealing that his sensibility extends far beyond simple expertise.

In addition to applying the gemological selection criteria, he seeks out stones that speak to him: those that evoke an idea, bring out an emotion, recall a memory, or tell a story.

Every gemstone in the "Royal Araina Collection" is a rare, timeless treasure highly sought-after by discerning collectors and gem connoisseurs.

Treasures of the Earth

"Treasures of the Earth" is a collection of noteworthy gemstones hand-picked by our team of gemstone experts. Every gemstone in this collection will captivate you with its intrinsic beauty and spectacular flair.

Curation
This remarkable heart-shaped Colombian emerald is a testimony to why the color green has such strong associations with fertility, renewal, and rebirth. Its vibrant natural color and unique internal qualities are full of life and palpable energy, while its superb transparency allows you to appreciate them both fully. Looking at this emerald, it's easy to see why emerald was chosen as the birthstone for May when spring is in full bloom. At 5.34 carats, it's also an ideal size. Coupled with only minor traditional oil enhancement to improve its appearance as certified by the Gem Research SwissLab (GRS), you truly have a rare find.

— Harshil Zaveri, Founder & CEO

Natural Emerald

Colombia

Indications of minor clarity enhancement with oil

Gemologist's Comments on Treatments:
As a business policy, we don't stock heated, treated, or enhanced gemstones. However, emeralds invariably come into contact with oil during their life, from mining to cutting/polishing to selling. This is because oil is commonly used as a lubricant for cleaning/storing rough emeralds and facilitating the cutting/polishing process.

Also, due to their natural growth conditions and recovery methods, almost all emeralds contain surface-reaching features. Therefore, the oil may seep into these features even when not intended as a treatment.

For this reason, clarity enhancement - particularly with oil - is a common and widely accepted trade practice for emeralds.

Indications of "minor" clarity enhancement with oil are observed in this particular emerald.
