Royal Araina Collection: Gemstones that you "fall in love" with

Named after his daughter, the "Royal Araina Collection" is a hand-picked selection of exceptional, noteworthy gemstones by Harshil Zaveri, the founder of StarRuby.in ®.

Why choose one gemstone rather than another?

That is where Harshil comes into his own, revealing that his sensibility extends far beyond simple expertise.

In addition to applying the gemological selection criteria, he seeks out stones that speak to him: those that evoke an idea, bring out an emotion, recall a memory, or tell a story.

Every gemstone in the "Royal Araina Collection" is a rare, timeless treasure highly sought-after by discerning collectors and gem connoisseurs.

Treasures of the Earth

"Treasures of the Earth" is a collection of noteworthy gemstones hand-picked by our team of gemstone experts. Every gemstone in this collection will captivate you with its intrinsic beauty and spectacular flair.

Curation
This extraordinary alexandrite indeed has us under her spell. Originating in Sri Lanka (Ceylon), this alexandrite is a rare variety of chrysoberyl with chameleon-like qualities. In fluorescent light, she shows a brownish-green, while in incandescent light (like that from a lamp or candle flame), she's reddish-purple. Much to our delight, she often lets you catch a glimpse of all of her colorful "personalities" as she sashays on the finger.

As certified by the Swiss Gemmological Institute (SSEF), the colors are natural, with no gemological evidence of enhancements or treatments. The degree of color change is also prominent, while its clarity is "flawless."

To add to her magnificent qualities is a square cushion shape with excellent proportions. Her 4.08-carat weight is equally exceptional, quite a special find considering that most cut alexandrites weigh less than one carat.

What a treat for the gem collector or connoisseur, as well as the jewelry enthusiast who appreciates the mesmerizing color and singular rarity of this superb gem.

— Harshil Zaveri, Founder & CEO
